Julen Lopetegui’s side won 2-1 at Deportivo Alaves and 3-0 against Cadiz in La Liga. They beat Valencia 3-0 and Eibar 2-0 in the Copa del Rey either side of a 2-0 win at Eibar in La Liga.

Sevilla’s last match was a 3-0 home win against Getafe. The visitors were reduced to 10 men in the 54th minute, Sevilla capitalising with goals to Munir El Haddadi, Papu Gómez and Youssef En-Nesyri.

Former Barcelona midfielder is available after serving a suspension in La Liga.

Winger Lucas Ocampos picked up an injury against Getafe and is doubtful. Attacking midfielder Óscar Rodríguez is out with a muscle injury.

Goalkeeper Tomás Vaclik and right back Jesus Navas are close to making a return.

Ronald Koeman’s side overturned a 1-0 deficit at Rayo Vallecano, winning 2-1 to advance in the Copa del Rey. Barca returned home and won 2-1 against Athletic Bilbao with Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann on target.

Barcelona suffered a huge scare at Granada in the Copa del Rey quarter-finals. Down 2-0 with time running out, Antoine Griezmann and Jordi Alba scored late goals to force extra time with Griezmann, Frenkie de Jong and Alba scoring to win 5-3.

Barcelona’s last match was a similar story. A Lionel Messi strike an own goal established a 2-1 lead at Real Betis, but they needed an 87th minute goal from Trincao to take all three points.

Barcelona centre-backs Gerard Piqué and Ronald Araujo are injured alongside the versatile Sergi Roberto.

Attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho and forward Ansu Fati are injured.

Expect Samuel Umtiti to come back into the starting side here alongside Pedri, Frenkie de Jong and Lionel Messi.
