West Brom Form

West Brom remain in the relegation zone after winning two of their opening 19 Premier League matches. Manager Slaven Bilic was replaced by urvival specialist Sam Allardyce on 16 December.

Allardyce saw his new side lose 3-0 at home against Aston Villa with Jake Livermore sent off in the 37th minute. The Baggies drew 1-1 against Liverpool at Anfield despite having 22% possession.

West Brom returned to The Hawthorns with a 5-0 defeat against Leeds and 4-0 defeat against Arsenal. They then went out of the FA Cup after a penalty shootout defeat at League One club Blackpool.

The Baggies returned to winning ways with a 3-2 win at Wolverhampton despite having 32% possession. Matheus Pereira scored two penalties and Semi Ajayi scored his third goal in five matches.

West Brom’s last match was a 2-1 defeat at West Ham. Pereira equalised but they can have no complaints after having 0.46-2.18 expected goals.

Manchester City are missing centre back Nathan Aké but Kyle Walker could return at right back after a hip complaint.
