Leicester vs Arsenal Predictions

Leicester may have been stopped in their tracks in the Europa League in midweek, but if anything that could aid their push for the top four this season. Their domestic form has been impressive lately, while Arsenal have only won once in three league games.

The Foxes are tipped to win again with both teams to score.

  • Leicester are undefeated in 11 of their last 12 matches (Premier League).
  • Leicester have won 4 of their last 5 matches (Premier League).
  • Leicester have seen BTTS in their last 2 home matches (Premier League).
  • Leicester have won 3 of their last 4 matches against Arsenal (Premier League).
  • Leicester have won their last 3 home matches against Arsenal (Premier League).
  • Arsenal have lost their last 2 away matches (Premier League).
  • Arsenal have seen BTTS in 3 of their last 4 matches (all competitions).

Arsenal have dominated this fixture, leading 67-33 having played 145 games. There have also been 45 draws.

More recently, Leicester have taken the spoils more often. In the corresponding fixture at the Emirates Stadium back in October, the Foxes ran out 1-0 winners and have won three of the last four during an unbeaten run.

Leicester Form

Brendan Rodgers will be incredibly disappointed by his side's 2-0 defeat to Slavia Prague in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday, which followed a 0-0 in the first leg.

But Leicester have been in good shape since a defeat to Leeds last month. The 3-1 loss to Leeds at home is their only one in the Premier League in this calendar year.

A 3-1 victory in their last home league game against Liverpool will give them confidence that they can take three points against the Gunners.

Leicester have won three in a row on the domestic front having beaten Brighton 1-0 in the FA Cup and Aston Villa 2-1 last week in the Premier League.

Leicester Injuries and Team News

The likes of Harvey Barnes, Ricardo Pereira and Timothy Castagne are likely to be reinstated to the starting XI after coming on in the midweek defeat to Slavia Prague.

James Maddison should also feature having missed the Europa League loss.

Defenders Wesley Fofana, James Justin and Wes Morgan are unavailable along with midfielder Dennis Praet and forward Ayoze Perez.

Arsenal Form

Arsenal showed their mettle to recover from a losing position to progress against Benfica in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang popped up with the winner three minutes from time as Arsenal's 3-2 victory saw them win 4-3 on aggregate.

Their Premier League form has been patchy. After a resurgence throughout January, back-to-back defeats against Wolves 2-1 and Aston Villa 1-0 brought them crashing down to earth.

A 4-2 home win against Leeds followed, but Mikel Arteta's side then lost 1-0 against his former side Manchester City last week.

The string of results leave Arsenal 11th in the Premier League, 12 points off the top four.

Arsenal Injuries and Team News

Midfielder Thomas Partey will likely make his first start since returning from injury this weekend after coming off the bench against Benfica.

Rob Holding is likely to return from a concussion absence.
