Levadia welcome RFS to A. Le Coq Arena for the first leg of their UEFA Champions League qualifying first round.

The hosts have little experience at this stage of European competition and could find things difficult on Tuesday. The visitors have been in good form lately and should have enough quality to claim the advantage away from home.

Levadia reached the Champions League qualifying stage after winning the Estonian Premium Liiga last season. They have made a bright start to this season's campaign and are seven points clear at the top of the table after claiming 15 wins from 20 matches, including a 3-0 victory at Paide in their previous fixture.

Levadia are showing plenty of attacking quality this season and have scored in their last eight matches. Seven of those fixtures have produced over 2.5 goals while Curro Torres’ team are without a clean sheet in five matches in that run.

While Levadia will be pleased to be back in European competition, they have a poor record at this level. They have failed to make it beyond the qualifying stages of any UEFA tournament and fell 6-1 on aggregate in the second round of last season’s Conference League.

RFS won the Latvian Virsliga last season, earning them a place in the Champions League qualifiers. Like the hosts, they have also made a bright start to their domestic campaign and are two points off top spot after picking up 17 wins from 22 matches so far.

The Latvians have been in good form lately, winning their last five matches across all competitions, including a 2-1 home victory over FK Liepaja in their last fixture. They also have experience at this level of European football and reached the league phase of the UEFA Europa League last season.

Goals have not been a problem for RFS, who have scored in their last 10 matches. Seven matches in that run have produced over 2.5 goals while Viktors Morosz’s team have failed to keep a clean sheet in six of those fixtures.
