Parma host Juventus in the Serie A on Saturday. Juventus have returned to form and come into this match 11 games unbeaten. The Old Lady come up against a Parma outfit they defeated twice last season, with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring multiple goals.

Parma find themselves on a four game unbeaten run in the league. A Gervinho double saw them defeat Genoa 2-1 away from home. Since then, Parma have drawn their last three Serie A matches. 

A goalless draw with Benevento was followed by a thrilling 2-2 tie with AC Milan. Parma scored the first two goals of that game through Hernani Azevedo Junior and Jasmin Kurtic, before Milan clawed their way back via a Theo Hernandez brace. 

Parma’s last match ended in another goalless draw against Cagliari which sees them sitting 14th on the table.

Midfielder Juraj Kucka returned to the starting line-up against Cagliari, having fully recovered from a leg injury. Romanian forward Valentin Mihaila is still recovering from a groin injury, while defender Vincent Laurini will also miss with an injured groin.

Juventus have returned to form and come into this tie 11 matches unbeaten. The Old Lady stamped their authority in the UEFA Champions League by defeating Barcelona 3-0 away from home. A Cristiano Ronaldo brace accompanied by a Weston McKennie debut goal saw Juve clinch a massive win. 

In the league, Juventus continued this form by defeating Genoa 3-1 away from home. Paulo Dybala struck first in the 57th minute before two Ronaldo penalties late in the piece put the result beyond doubt. 

Ronaldo has scored 10 goals this season in the Serie A and currently leads the Golden boot alongside Romelu Lukaku and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Although the Portuguese superstar would not be so fortunate from the spot against Atalanta. With the score locked at 1-1, Ronaldo had his penalty saved – ensuring both sides picked up a point each. 

The result sees Juventus sitting in third position on the table just four points behind league leaders AC Milan.

In morale boosting news for Juventus, defender Giorgio Chiellini has returned to the squad. The Italian defender has been out for several weeks with a hamstring injury and is not too far away from a return to the pitch. 

Turkish defender Merih Demiral will miss another week with a thigh injury. 

Paulo Dybala came off the bench in the last match and may be used to partner with Ronaldo instead of Alvaro Morata.
