Juventus are slowly getting back to their best after going unbeaten in their last 12 matches in all competitions. The Old Lady beat Barcelona 3-0 away from home in the UEFA Champions League to snatch top spot in Group G.

Andrea Pirlo’s side won 3-1 at Genoa, Paulo Dybala striking first before two Ronaldo penalties put the result beyond doubt. 

Juventus drew 1-1 at home against Atalanta, Federico Chiesa opening the scoring and Ronaldo missing a chance from the penalty spot to put them 2-1 up.

Juventus’ last match was a 4-0 win at Parma on Saturday. Dejan Kulusevski scored first, Ronaldo bagged another brace with Alvaro Morata wrapping it up.

Fiorentina Form


Fiorentina have found it hard to win in Serie A this season. La Viola are four points clear of the relegation zone having won two of their opening 13 league games.

Cesare Prandelli’s side lost 3-0 at Atalanta where they could only create two shots on target. Fiorentina then drew 1-1 at home against Sassuolo, managing 33% possession with Dusan Vlahovic equalising from the penalty spot.

Fiorentina’s last match was another 1-1 draw at home against Hellas Verona. Vlahovic equalised from the penalty spot once again to make it three Serie A goals for the season.

Centre back Merih Demiral is injured but Giorgio Chiellini is getting closer to a return. 

Midfielder Arthur is battling a hamstring injury and Argentine attacker Paulo Dybala is doubtful with muscle fatigue.

Expect Cristiano Ronaldo to continue to partner Alvaro Morata up front. Ronaldo has scored 16 goals in 13 matches for Juventus this season.

Defensive midfielder Joseph Duncan is the only injury concern for Fiorentina.
