While Benevento’s recent results have not been pretty, they have remained consistent in front of goal - scoring in six of their last seven matches. 

The Stregoni came from a goal down against Cagliari to record a 2-1 win away from home. Midfielder Marco Sau equalised in the 41st minute before defender Alessandro Tuia headed home the winner three minutes later. 

Since then, Benevento have suffered consecutive 4-1 defeats to Atalanta and Crotone respectively.

The loss to Crotone was further soured with Sau being sent off in the 65th minute.

Sau will miss due to suspension, while midfielder Pasquale Schiattarella will also be sidelined after testing positive to coronavirus. 

Forward Gianluca Caprari made a successful return from a calf injury off the bench in the loss against Crotone. Centre-back Alessandro Tuia also returned to the line-up after he was sidelined with a groin issue.

Right-back Gaetano Letizia is a chance to return from a quad injury this week.

Torino Form


Torino have slowly turned their season around after a poor start. 

Il Toro enjoyed a four-match unbeaten run, with all four matches seeing BTTS.

This run came to an end when they went 2-0 down to league leaders AC Milan. Torino would meet Milan days later in the Coppa Italia, with Milan winning the match 5-4 on penalties after a 0-0 draw. 

Their most recent match ended in a 0-0 draw with Spezia. Torino’s Cristian Ansaldi came the closest to scoring when he struck the post in the second half.

Midfielder Tomas Rincon returns from suspension, while forward Federico Bonazzoli should also return after recovering from muscular fatigue.

The only notable absentee is Mergim Vojvoda who is sidelined with a shoulder injury.
