Newcastle Form


Newcastle’s form has been disappointing of late, with the Magpies failing to win any of their last five matches in all competitions.

Having lost 5-2 to Leeds and drew 1-1 with Fulham, Newcastle were then eliminated in the quarter-finals of the League Cup by Championship side Brentford. That was then followed up with a 2-0 defeat by Manchester City.

Steve Bruce’s team did at least end 2020 on a positive note after holding champions Liverpool to a 0-0 draw.

Leicester will assess the fitness of Wesley Fofana and James Maddison who are both struggling with knocks. Ricardo Pereira and Cengiz Under are ruled out.
