Liverpool face Tottenham in the Premier League on Wednesday. Both teams are level on points at the top of the table heading into matchday 13.

Liverpool Form

Liverpool will be relying on their imperious home form once again after a patchy run away from Anfield.

The Reds are unbeaten in their last eight matches in the Premier League, winning four at home and drawing four away.

They were outstanding in their last home match, beating Wolves 4-0 but were unable to replicate that form at Craven Cottage.

A sub-par performance saw the Reds miss out on the chance to move to the top of the table as they drew 1-1 thanks to Mohamed Salah’s second-half equaliser from the penalty spot.

Liverpool Team News

Liverpool will once again be without Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Kostas Tsimikas, James Milner, Thiago Alcantara, Naby Keita, Xherdan Shaqiri and Diogo Jota through injury.

Tottenham Form

Tottenham have an excellent record against the big six this season and will need to show it once again as they look to end Liverpool’s unbeaten run at Anfield.

Spurs are still unbeaten since the opening day of the season when they lost to the blue side of Merseyside, Everton.

Jose Mourinho’s team took seven points from matches against Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal before travelling to Crystal Palace at the weekend.

The match ended all square at 1-1 as Harry Kane’s opener was cancelled out by a Jeffery Schlupp equaliser in the final 10 minutes.

Tottenham Team News

Tottenham will be without Erik Lamela due to a muscle injury.

Liverpool vs Tottenham Head to Head

Liverpool have 85 wins in this fixture compared to Tottenham’s 48. There have also been 42 draws shared between the clubs.

The most recent meeting finished 1-0 to Liverpool, who have won the last five games between the teams.

Liverpool vs Tottenham Odds

Liverpool are favourites to win this match at 1.81, while Spurs are priced at 4.60. The draw is available at 3.95.

Liverpool vs Tottenham Match Up

Liverpool have fared well in this contest in recent times, winning each of their last five matches against Tottenham. Spurs will likely look to exploit the spaces left by Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson in the full-back positions, just as they did so effectively against Arsenal.
