Leicester Form

Leicester are playing very well, winning 5 of their last 6 matches and winning by 2+ goals in 4 of their last 5 matches. They won 4-0 at Stoke in the FA Cup in a dominant display.

The Foxes returned to the EPL with 2-0 home wins against Southampton and Chelsea. James Maddison scored in both matches to continue his strong form in front of goal.

Brendan Rodgers’ side then won 3-1 at Brentford in the FA Cup. They fell behind early but hit back with goals to Cengiz Ünder, Youri Tielemans and Maddison.

Leicester’s last match was a 1-1 draw at Everton. Tielemans equalised in the second half but they will be disappointed after having 65% possession and 19-8 shots.

Leicester Team News

Centre back Wes Morgan is injured and Jonny Evans is doubtful. Expect Wesley Fofana and Çaglar Söyüncü to line up in central defence.

Attacking midfielder Dennis Praet is injured and defensive midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is doubtful.

Striker Jamie Vardyis injured with Ayoze Perez and Kelechi Iheanacho fighting for a spot up front.

Attacking midfielder James Maddison has scored 4 goals in his last 5 matches. He couldn’t hit the target against Everton despite taking 5 shots, he has picked up the slack in Vardy’s absence.

Leeds Form

Leeds have been very inconsistent this season. The EPL newcomers suffered a heavy 6-2 defeat at Manchester United but bounced back with a 1-0 home win against Burnley.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side won 5-0 win at West Brom. They went ahead through an own goal followed by strikes to Ezgjan Alioski, Jack Harrison, Rodrigo and Raphinha.

The optimism was short lived however after three straight defeats without scoring a goal. Leeds lost 3-0 at Tottenham, 3-0 at League Two club Crawley in the FA Cup and 1-0 at home against Brighton where they managed just 0.25 expected goals.

Leeds’ last match was a 2-1 win in Newcastle. Raphinha opened the scoring and assisted Jack Harrison for the winner.

Leeds Team News

Centre backs Robin Koch and Diego Llorente remain out injured alongside right back Gaetano Berardi.

Pascal Struijk will hope to start in central defence after a solid substitute appearance in Newcastle.

Midfielder Adam Forshaw hasn’t played this season as he battles a hip injury.

Head to Head

Leeds have a narrow 47-44 advantage against Leicester with 33 draws in 124 matches.

Leicester have won the last three meetings including a 4-1 win in Leeds in November. Harvey Barnes and Jamie Vardy were on target with Youri Tielemans bagging a brace.
