Leicester Form

Leicester are unbeaten in three matches in all competitions and sit third in the Premier League, a place above Liverpool.

The Foxes’ beat Brighton 1-0 in the FA Cup last 16 in midweek. Kelechi Iheanacho scored in the 93rd minute to give Leicester a second win in three matches.

Leicester beat Fulham 2-0 at Craven Cottage last week thanks to Iheanacho and James Justin goals. They followed that with a 0-0 draw with Wolves last weekend.

Brendan Rodgers’ side's 3-1 home defeat to Leeds at the end of January is their only loss in the last 13 matches in all competitions. They have won eight and drawn four in that run.

Leicester Team News

Full-back James Justin and forward Ayoze Perez suffered injuries in the FA Cup tie against Brighton in midweek and are doubtful.

Defenders Timothy Castagne, Wes Morgan and Wesley Fofana are ruled out. Daniel Amartey could fill in in defence again.

Attacking midfielder Dennis Praet is out until April.

James Maddison and Harvey Barnes are set to start after being rested for FA Cup win over Brighton.

Liverpool Form

Liverpool lost 4-1 to Manchester City last weekend – the first time the Reds have lost consecutive Premier League matches this season.

Mo Salah cancelled out Ilkay Gündogan’s early opener but Liverpool conceded three second half goals.

The defeat to City followed a 1-0 home defeat to Brighton.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have now lost three in a row at home. In a real slump, the champions have two wins from the last nine Premier League matches, drawing three and losing four.

Liverpool have enjoyed better form on the road. They have scored six goals in their last two away games in back-to-back 3-1 wins over West Ham and Tottenham.

Liverpool Team News

Defenders Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip remain sidelined for Liverpool.

Nathaniel Phillips could return to partner Jordan Henderson at centre back.

Naby Keita is still ruled out with a thigh injury, while a knee injury continues to keep forward Diogo Jota out.

Head to Head

In 115 meetings, Liverpool hold a 51-39 head-to-head advantage over Leiceser. There have been 25 draws between the sides.

Liverpool have won the last three Premier League meetings between the sides, scoring nine and conceding one.

Liverpool won reverse fixture in November with a 3-0 victory at Anfield. Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota scored, while Jonny Evans put into his own net.

Predictions

Leicester have looked strong in recent weeks, with just one loss in their last 10 Premier League matches. Liverpool’s form has been poor, but the Reds have been more consistent away from home.
