Sweden are aiming to build on their match-day one win when they face Poland in Group C of the UEFA European Women's Championship.

The Poles are looking to bounce back from their defeat and will aim to channel some of their recent overall good form. However, the Swedes often come out on top in this fixture and should claim the upper hand once again.

Poland began their Women’s Euros campaign with a 2-0 defeat to Germany. They were second best throughout the encounter and could have lost by more, finishing with just two attempts on target.

Manager Nina Patalon will look to bounce back from that defeat and the Poles have much to build on given their recent form. They had been unbeaten in their previous nine matches, picking up eight wins in that run.

Poland may have suffered a shutout in their opening fixture, but they usually show some attacking quality in their games. Three of their last four matches across all competitions have produced over 2.5 goals.

Sweden made a winning start to their campaign as they edged to a 1-0 victory over Denmark. They were made to work hard by the Danes, with Filippa Angeldal’s effort proving to be the difference.

While there is plenty of room for improvement, manager Peter Gerhardsson will be pleased with the result as it maintains their recent good form. Sweden are unbeaten in their last 13 matches across all competitions, picking up nine victories in that run and winning the first half in two of the last three.

Angeldal's effort in the opening fixture maintains a solid scoring run as the forward has now scored in the last three matches. The Swedes have a generally solid attack and can count a 6-1 UEFA Nations League victory over Denmark among their recent results.

Sweden are the superior force in this fixture and have won. All five previous matches against Poland. The last meeting was a friendly in 2021, which ended in a 4-2 victory in favour of the Swedes.

Denmark's overall form has been solid lately but they tend to struggle against the top sides, evidenced by the defeat to Germany in their opening fixture. Sweden have won all the previous meetings and claimed a win and over 2.5 goals in the last clash.

Sweden have won the first half in two of the last three matches and could be set for a repeat. Angeldal has gotten the better of multiple defences lately and should score for the fourth straight match.
