Liverpool have rejected Bayern Munich’s approach for Colombian forward Luis Diaz, who has been deemed “not for sale”.
Max Eberl, Bayern director of sport, has been told that the English champions have no intention of parting ways with Diaz, with talks for a move currently off the table.
Spanish champions Barcelona and Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr also showed an interest in the Colombia international this summer, but Liverpool’s hierarchy also rejected their interest in the forward.
The 28-year-old, who moved to Anfield from Porto in 2022, played an integral part in the Reds clinching their second Premier League title last season, scoring 13 goals and providing seven assists.
Diaz has scored 41 goals in 148 appearances across all competitions for Liverpool, winning the Premier League, the FA Cup and two League Cups.
He has two years left on his current deal with the club and has voiced his satisfaction with seeing out the rest of his contract with the Reds.
