The Old Lady won 2-0 against Napoli in the Italian Super Cup. Ronaldo opened the scoring and Alvaro Morata wrapped it up after Napoli missed a penalty.

Juventus returned to Serie A with a 2-0 home win against Bologna. Arthur and Weston McKennie scored in a match where Juve had 3.52-0.43 expected goals.

Andrea Pirlo’s side stayed at home and won 4-0 against SPAL in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals. Alvaro Morata opened the scoring from the penalty spot with Gianluca Frabotta, Dejan Kulusevski and Federico Chiesa on target.

Centre backs Matthijs de Ligt and Merih Demiral started against SPAL. Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci will hope to come back into the starting side.

Left back Alex Sandro came off the bench in the Coppa Italia after testing positive for COVID-19.  

Argentine attacker Paulo Dybala is out with a medial collateral ligament injury. Young Swedish striker Dejan Kulusevski is suspended.
