Leeds continued with the inconsistencies when going down 2-1 at home to Everton on Wednesday.

Gylfi Sigurdsson and Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored first-half goals for the Toffees. Raphina halved the deficit three minutes into the second-half.

That loss followed back-to-back victories for Leeds. Marcelo Bielsa's side won 2-1 at Newcastle and upset Leicester 3-1 at at the King Power Stadium.

In the last 12 games in the Premier League, Leeds have recorded six wins and six defeats during a topsy-turvy run of form.

Centre backs Robin Koch and Diego Llorente remain on the sidelines along with right back Gaetano Berardi. 

Midfielder Adam Forshaw is still unavailable, while Rodrigo won't return after missing the Everton defeat.

Winger Ivan Poveda has joined the list of absentees with an ankle injury.

Crystal Palace Form


Crystal Palace made it back-to-back wins when coming from behind to defeat Newcastle 2-1 away from home on Tuesday.

Palace conceded a Jonjo Shelvey goal after two minutes. But Jairo Riedewald and Gary Cahill netted in the space of four first-half minutes.

The victory followed a crucial 1-0 win over Wolves last weekend. Eberechi Eze secured a rare Palace victory to end a four-game winless run.

Roy Hodgson's side had lost 1-0 to Wolves in the FA Cup, and 4-0 to Manchester City and 3-2 to West Ham in the Premier League. They also drew 0-0 with Arsenal.

Palace have not won three games in a row since last season restarted back in June.

Wilfried Zaha has been ruled out with the hamstring injury that forced him off against Newcastle.

New signing French striker Jean-Philippe Mateta has been an unused substitute in both games since signing. He may make an appearance at Elland Road. 

Christian Benteke is more likely to replace Zaha in the starting line-up.

Palace are still without goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey, centre backs Mamadou Sakho and James Tomkins, midfielder James McArthur, winger Jeffrey Schlupp and striker Connor Wickham.

Leeds hold a 29-18 head to head advantage over Crystal Palace with 16 draws between the sides.

Palace won 4-1 at Selhurst Park earlier in the season in the first meeting since 2013.

Scott Dann, Eberechi Eze and Jordan Ayew scored for Palace. Helder Costa also put through his own net. Patrick Bamford scored for Leeds and had another ruled out by VAR.
