Ronald Koeman’s side suffered a huge scare at Granada in the Copa del Rey. Down 2-0 with time running out, two late goals forced extra time where Antoine Griezmann, Frenkie de Jong and Jordi Alba scored to win 5-3.

Barcelona needed an 87th minute goal from Trincao to take all three points in a 3-2 win at Real Betis. Their luck ran out at Sevilla in the Copa del Rey, losing 2-0 in the semi-final first leg. 

Barcelona’s last match was a 5-1 home win against Deportivo Alaves. Trincao and Lionel Messi bagged braces with Junior Firpo rounding it off.

Barcelona centre-backs Gerard Piqué and Ronald Araujo are injured alongside the versatile Sergi Roberto.

Attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho is injured alongside forwards Ansu Fati and Martin Braithwaite.

Paris Saint-Germain are in a battle to win Ligue 1 after five defeats in their opening 25 league matches. 

PSG have started to find consistency under Mauricio Pochettino, winning 8 of their last 9 matches in all competitions.

The Parisians won 3-0 against Nimes and 2-0 at Marseille in Ligue 1. They then won 1-0 at Caen in the French Cup which came at a cost with Neymar injured.

PSG’s last match was a 2-1 home win against Nice. Julian Draxler opened the scoring and Moise Kean scored the winner in the 76th minute.

Pochettino needs to tighten up PSG’s defence, they have allowed an average of 1.16 expected goals in their last four Ligue 1 matches.

PSG left back and Juan Bernat is injured which should see Layvin Kurzawa start.

Midfielders Marco Verratti and Rafinha are doubtful.
