Wolves are looking to maintain their recent resurgence when they host Newcastle United in an English Premier League fixture on Sunday.

The hosts appear to be building some momentum lately and have been particularly solid at home. They can do enough to avoid defeat against the Magpies, who have been unconvincing on their travels.

They claimed a 4-3 home victory over Leeds United, but come into this clash off the back of a 2-0 home defeat to Manchester City in the EFL Cup semi-final first leg.

For all of Newcastle United’s fine showings this season, their form on the road has been disappointing. Eddie Howe's team are winless in seven of their last nine away matches across all competitions, losing six times on this run.

Newcastle often struggle defensively on their travels and are without a clean sheet in nine of their last 10 away matches. However, they have scored in eight of those matches, with all eight fixtures producing over 2.5 goals.
