Real Madrid are aiming to breathe new life into their title challenge when they host Levante in a Spanish La Liga fixture on Sunday.

Levante News

Levante are battling at the opposite end of the table from the hosts as they sit second from bottom. They are currently four points from safety and will be desperate for a swift turnaround in fortunes.

There is little improvement for Levante, who are winless in eight of their last 10 matches across all competitions, playing out a 1-1 home draw with Espanyol in their previous La Liga fixture. Luis Castro’s team have also been unconvincing on their travels, suffering four defeats in their last six away matches.

After suffering two disappointing defeats this week, Real Madrid will be targeting a reaction on Saturday. Having scored over 2.5 goals in the last three matches against Levante, a similar pattern is expected.
