A thrilling contest could be on the cards when PSG battle Real Madrid in the FIFA Club World Cup semi-final.

The Parisians are aiming to add this to their UEFA Champions League victory, while Los Blancos are seeking redemption after a disappointing season. Both teams have had impressive campaigns so far, driven by prolific attack, and could be set to serve up goals here.

PSG are in the semi-final after claiming a 2-0 victory over Bayern Munich in the previous round. Following a drab first half, they came to life after the break with efforts from Desire Doue and Ousmane Dembele earning them the win.

Aside from the surprise 1-0 defeat to Botafogo in their second group game, PSG have looked imperious in this competition. Luis Enrique’s team have won four of their five matches and have already beaten one Spanish team after claiming a 4-0 victory over Atletico Madrid in their opening fixture.

PSG will be pleased to have Dembele back among the goals, although they coped well without the French forward. The Parisians have scored in four of their five matches in this tournament, while seven of their last 10 fixtures have produced over 2.5 goals.

Real Madrid also overcame a German side in the previous round as they earned a 3-2 victory over Borussia Dortmund. They went two goals up at the break thanks to a Gonzalo Garcia brace before Kylian Mbappe came off the bench to score the third.

Los Blancos appear to be quickly coming to terms with Xabi Alonso's tactics and are enjoying a solid campaign at the Club World Cup. After kicking off their campaign with a 1-1 draw with Al Hilal, they have gone on to win their last four matches in the tournament.

Mbappe’s return will be a massive boost for Real Madrid, with the forward scoring off the bench in his first appearance. The Spaniards have scored in every game so far, while three of their last four matches have produced over 2.5 goals.
