The Reds retain an interest in Isak but have made no further approach since the initial £110m bid was rejected. Like the hosts, manager Arne Slot will be keen to focus on matters on the pitch, although the reds lost three of their final four away matches in the league last season.

Liverpool already showed in the opening fixture that goals are not a problem, although they may need to tighten up at the back, having conceded twice against Bournemouth.
