Napoli will be aiming to extend their perfect start in the Italian Serie A when they host Pisa on Monday night.

The Neapolitans are looking almost unstoppable in the league at the moment and also boast a solid record in this fixture. They should be too strong for the visitors, who are still without a win.

Napoli head into this clash off the back of a 2-0 defeat at Manchester City on match-day one of the UEFA Champions League. They played much of the game with 10 men following an early red card to Giovanni Di Lorenzo and failed to muster up any attacking threat.

Manager Antonio Conte will be keen to bounce back quickly as Napoli return to domestic action. The good news for Partenopei is that they have won all three of their Serie A matches this season, earning a 3-1 victory at Fiorentina last time out.

Pisa are enduring a difficult start to the season and are winless after three Serie matches. They are currently in the bottom three, and manager Alberto Gilardino will be keen to jumpstart their campaign to avoid getting stuck in a battle for survival all season.

After beginning their campaign with a promising 1-1 draw at Atalanta, Pisa have now lost their last two league matches. They were beaten 1-0 at home by Udinese in their previous fixture.

The defeat to Udinese highlighted one of the issues for Pisa as they often struggle to score much going forward. They have failed to score in their last two Serie A matches.

Napoli have never lost in this fixture, with four wins and a draw from five previous matches against Pisa. The last meeting was a Coppa Italia clash in 2007, which ended 3-1 in favour of the Neapolitans.

Monday's clash is likely to be a mis-match, with Napoli dominating all in Serie A while Pisa are struggling. Partenopei have won to nil in two of their three league matches and with the visitors failing to score in their last two fixtures, a repeat is expected here.

Napoli often make fast starts, and having scored the opening goal in the first half in two of their three league matches, a similar pattern is on the cards.
