Manchester City are looking to snap out of a mini-slump when they host Wolves in an English Premier League fixture on Saturday.

While Wolves will be pleased with their recent upturn in form, they may have left the resurgence a little too late. Survival seems to be a long shot at this point as they remain rooted to the foot of the table, 14 points from safety.

Despite their recent resurgence, Wolves have still only claimed one Premier League win all season. They remain winless on their travels and have lost six of their last nine away matches in the league.

Manchester City are wounded coming into this clash and will be keen to make a statement. They will be targeting a fast start and having scored the first half's opening goal and led at the break in their last seven home matches, a repeat is on the cards here.

It is usually one-sided in this fixture, and Saturday's clash should be no different. Having won by two or more goals in four of their last six home matches, the Citizens could be backed in the handicap market.
