Liverpool have reportedly rejected an official offer from Bayern Munich for Colombian forward Luis Diaz.
Bayern on Tuesday tendered a bid worth around £58.5 million for Diaz, who has two more years left on his current Liverpool contract.
Earlier this month, the Reds had informed the German club and other admirers that the 28-year-old was not for sale. Spanish champions Barcelona and Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr had also asked about his availability earlier in the summer window.
Liverpool, however, are not looking to change their stance anytime soon, and reports suggest that only a bid in excess of £80m can sway their decision.
Bayern, meanwhile, have Diaz high on their summer wishlist and are expected to return with a second bid for the former Porto forward, who moved to Anfield in 2022.
Diaz was instrumental in helping Liverpool win their second Premier League title last season, scoring 13 goals in 36 matches. He has 41 goals and 23 assists in over 140 appearances since joining the Merseyside outfit, winning the Premier League, FA Cup, and two League Cups in that time.
