Levante host Elche in a Friday night Spanish La Liga fixture, with both teams looking to snap out of a slump.

The hosts are wallowing in the relegation zone, having endured a difficult season so far, while the visitors come into this clash in the middle of a slump. Poor defending has been one of the problems for both teams, and they could be set to offer up goals here.

Los Franjiverdes were held to a 2-2 home draw by Sevilla last time out in La Liga after throwing away a two-goal lead from Aleix Febas and German Valera. Eder Sarabia's team are also unconvincing on their travels and are winless in their last six La Liga away matches.

Elche also struggle to maintain their defensive discipline and are without a clean sheet in their last four matches, although they have also scored in all four fixtures. The last three matches have produced more goals after the break, with all three fixtures serving up over 1.5 second-half goals.

Levante have six wins and four draws, while Elche have picked up just two wins in the last 12 matches. However, the visitors claimed a 2-0 home victory in the reverse fixture back in August.
