Barcelona will look to begin their Copa Del Rey title defence on a high note as they travel to Guadalajara for a round of 32 clash on Tuesday.

The Catalans come into this match in good form and will be feeling confident. They should get the better of the hosts, who should be no match for the current La Liga leaders.

Guadalajara secured a clash against the champions after claiming a 1-0 home victory over Ceuta in the previous round. Alejandro Canizo’s first-half effort proved to be the difference in a closely fought encounter.

Things have not been particularly smooth for Guadalajara lately, with just two wins in their last eight matches across all competitions. Pere Martin's team will head into this clash off the back of a 3-1 defeat at Real Madrid B in a Primera RFEF clash on Saturday.

The Catalans have earned a number of one-sided results this season, like the 6-1 Champions League win over Olympiacos and the 6-0 triumph over Valencia. Hansi Flick's team also eased to a 5-3 victory at Real Betis in their previous away fixture.
