Fluminense and Chelsea square off in the last four of the FIFA Club World Cup, with a place in the final up for grabs.

It has been an impressive run to the final for the Brazilians, who have held their own against the top sides. However, Chelsea have the superior quality and should claim the upper hand here.

Fluminense reached the semi-final of the Club World Cup after claiming a 2-1 victory over Al Hilal in the previous round. Martinelli opened the scoring just before the break while Hercules netted the winner midway through the second half.

The Brazilians are the only non-European side in the last four and are led by former Chelsea defender Thiago Silva, who has been solid at the back. They are unbeaten in the tournament and have claimed three wins in their last four matches.

Goals have not been a problem for Fluminense, who have scored in every game after playing out a 0-0 draw with Borussia Dortmund in their first outing. Renato Gaucho's team have conceded in two of their last four matches, with both fixtures producing over 2.5 goals.

Chelsea claimed a 2-1 victory over Palmeiras to secure a place in the semi-final. Cole Palmer finally got off the mark in the competition with the opener, while a Waverton own-goal sealed the win after the Brazilians had drawn level.

It has been a solid Club World Cup for Chelsea, who are looking to add this title to their UEFA Conference League win in May. Enzo Maresca's team have won four of their five matches in the competition, with their only defeat coming against a Brazilian side, a 3-1 loss to Flamengo.

Chelsea have scored in every game in the competition, spreading their goals across the team. Their last four matches have produced over 2.5 goals, while they have failed to keep a clean sheet in three fixtures in that run.

Fluminense have shown they can hold their own against anyone and are expected to make things difficult in this one. However, Chelsea are looking confident at the moment and having already seen off one Brazilian side in the quarter-finals, should have the upper hand here.

There were goals for both teams, and over 2.5 goals in Chelsea's quarter-final clash while Fluminense played out a similar outcome in theirs. A repeat could be on the card in Tuesday's match.
