The good news for Celtic is that they have shown some good form since Martin O’Neill took interim charge, winning their last two matches. They claimed a 1-0 victory at St Mirren in a Scottish Premiership clash last weekend, ending a three-match losing run on their travels.

Celtic have scored in eight of their last 10 matches across all competitions, with six of the last nine fixtures on this run producing over 2.5 goals. However, like the hosts, they have failed to keep a clean sheet in seven of those 10 matches.

The only previous meetings between Feyenoord and Celtic came in the group stage of the 2023-24 UEFA Champions League, with both teams winning their home clash. The Dutch side triumphed 2-0 in the first meeting while the Scottish club claimed a 2-1 victory in the reverse fixture.
