Croatia are looking to maintain their perfect record in Group L of the UEFA World Cup qualifiers when they travel to the Czech Republic on Thursday.

The Croats have been almost unstoppable in this campaign and are driven by a prolific attack. They can hold their own against the hosts, who have been a bit unconvincing lately.

The Czech Republic claimed a 2-0 victory at Montenegro in their previous qualifying clash, with efforts from Lukas Cerv and Vaclav Cerny earning them the win. Ivan Hasek’s team followed up that result with a 1-1 draw with Saudi Arabia in a friendly back in September.

The Czechs are enjoying a solid qualifying campaign so far, winning four of their five matches in Group L. However, their only defeat came against Croatia, a 5-1 thrashing in Osijek back in June.

The Czech Republic often look solid going forward and have scored in their last seven matches across all competitions. However, they have failed to keep a clean sheet in four of those matches, while four fixtures on this run have also produced over 2.5 goals.

Croatia were also victorious in their previous qualifying fixture, easing to a 4-0 home triumph over Montenegro. There were four different scorers, with veterans Andrej Kramaric and Ivan Perisic among the goals.

That result maintains Croatia’s perfect record in Group L, having won all four of their matches so far. Their good form is not limited to the qualifiers, with Zlatko Dalic’s team winning at least one half in eight of their last 10 matches across all competitions.

Croatia's qualifying campaign has been driven by a prolific attack that has seen them score 17 goals in just four matches in Group L, with three of those fixtures producing over 2.5 goals. However, they have failed to keep a clean sheet in four of their last six away matches across all competitions.

Croatia have never lost in this fixture, with two wins and as many draws in the last four matches against the Czech Republic. The Croats eased to a 5-1 home victory in the reverse fixture back in June.

Both teams have quality going forward and could be backed to score here. With three of Croatia's last four qualifying matches producing over 2.5 goals, a similar outcome could also be on the cards.
