Chelsea welcome Bournemouth to Stamford Bridge for a midweek English Premier League fixture, with both teams keen to get their campaigns back on track.

The Blues have been below their best lately but often perform on home soil. They should get the better of the visitors, who appear completely out of sorts at the moment and have been poor on their travels.

Bournemouth are a long way from their early-season form that saw them go unbeaten in eight of their opening nine Premier League matches. Andoni Iraola's team are currently on a nine-match winless run and were beaten 4-1 at Brentford in their previous fixture.

This poor run has seen them slip into the bottom half of the table as they now sit 15th. The defeat at Brentford also extends a poor away record for the Cherries, who have lost four of their last five matches on the road.

Defending appears to be the major problem for Bournemouth, who are without a clean sheet in eight of their last nine matches. However, they have scored in eight of their last nine away matches, while eight of those fixtures have also produced over 2.5 goals.
