Morocco vs Tanzania

Cameroon and Morocco square off at the Stade Prince Moulay Abdallah in the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations, with both teams eyeing a place in the last four.

Both sides got similar records on their way to the last eight and will each fancy their chances coming into this one. They will be fired up for Friday's clash and could be set to serve up a thrilling contest.

Cameroon qualified for the quarter-finals after claiming a 2-1 victory over South Africa in the round of 16. Junior Tchamedeu and Christian Kofane got the goals as they were able to hold on despite a late fightback attempt from Bafana Bafana.

It has been a solid campaign so far for Cameroon, who overcame pre-tournament issues to reach this stage. David Pagou's team are unbeaten so far, claiming three wins in their four matches.

Cameroon have shown some attacking quality in the competition, scoring in all four matches so far. However, the Indomitable Lions have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last three fixtures on this run.

A 1-0 victory over Tanzania was enough to earn Morocco a place in the quarter-finals of the AFCON. Brahim Diaz continued his impressive scoring run after finding the net midway through the second half.

As tournament hosts, Morocco have caught the eye so far, although a clash against Cameroon could be considered their first real test. The Atlas Lions are also unbeaten in the competition, with three wins from four matches.

Led by Diaz, who has found the net four times, Morocco have looked sharp in attack, scoring at least one first-half goal in three of their four matches. Walid Regragui's team have also grabbed the opening goal in the first half in those three fixtures.

Cameroon have six wins while Morocco have picked up just two victories, with five draws in the last 13 matches. Both teams met during the AFCON 2017 qualifiers, with the Indomitable Lions earning a 1-0 victory.

Cameroon v Morocco

Morocco appear to often settle quickly and having scored at least one first-half goal in three of their last four matches, a repeat could be considered here. Having also opened the scoring in those three fixtures, a similar pattern could be on the cards.

Cameroon have looked sharp in attack and have the quality to cause Morocco problems at the back. Both teams are expected to score in Friday's clash.
