Besiktas hold a comfortable 4-1 lead as they host St Patrick's in the second leg of their UEFA Conference League qualifier.

The Turks have already shown their superior quality in the first meeting and will be confident heading into this clash. With the visitors unconvincing at the moment, another comfortable home win could be on the cards here.

Besiktas were full value for the win in the first leg after dominating throughout. All their goals were scored in the first half, with Tammy Abraham helping himself to a hat-trick after Joao Mario had opened the scoring.

That was a solid return to winning ways for Besiktas, who had been off-colour in Europe lately, losing home and away in the previous round of the Europa League. However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team have picked up some big wins at home lately, with a 5-1 victory over Hatayspor and a 4-1 triumph over Adana Demirspor among their results.

Besiktas have been involved in a number of high-scoring encounters lately, with three of their last four home matches producing over 3.5 goals. Three of those four matches have also produced over 1.5 goals in the first half.

Despite being the home side in the first leg, St Patrick's were second best throughout that encounter. They struggled to cope with the superior quality of the Turks, with Simon Power’s second-half effort proving a mere consolation.

Beyond that result, things have been generally solid for St Patrick's, with six wins in their last eight matches, including a 3-0 victory over Sligo Rovers in a domestic fixture last weekend. However, their away form needs some work, having picked up just three wins from their last 10 matches on the road, with five defeats on this run.

St Patrick's are usually shaky at the back and are likely to be even more open as they look to overturn the deficit. Three of the last six matches across all competitions for Stephen Kenny’s team have produced over 3.5 goals.
