Leeds United have agreed a €20 million deal to sign German midfielder Anton Stach from Hoffenheim.

The 26-year-old is set to sign a four-year contract, with the deal including add-ons and subject to a medical and international clearance.

Stach will become Leeds’ sixth summer signing, following the club’s confirmation of Sean Longstaff’s £12 million transfer from Newcastle on Friday. He also joins Sebastiaan Bornauw, Jaka Bijol, Gabriel Gudmundsson, and Lukas Nmecha as new arrivals at Elland Road.

The German joined Hoffenheim from fellow Bundesliga side Mainz in September 2023 and departs the club having scored four goals in over 70 appearances.

He made his international debut for Germany in March 2022, coming on as a substitute in a 2–0 friendly win over Israel.

Leeds, led by German Daniel Farke, secured promotion to the Premier League after winning the Championship last season. The Yorkshire club will begin their 2025-26 campaign with a home fixture against Everton on 18 August.
