Transfer Ambitions Grow at Maccabi Tel Aviv
Recently, news broke that Lonnie Walker IV had joined Maccabi Tel Aviv, and now another highly notable player has further strengthened the competition within the “Pride of Israel.”
Jeff Dautin Jr, a point guard who was linked with Partizan during this transfer window and spent a good part of last season with the 76ers, is now officially a player for the Tel Aviv club.
According to insider Marc Stein, Dautin Jr has signed a two-year deal and will try to help Maccabi reach the EuroLeague Playoffs – and possibly even the Final Four.
Performance Breakdown
What makes Dautin Jr stand out is his impressive shooting performance last season with the 76ers – an excellent 48% from the field and an outstanding 40% from beyond the arc.
In addition to Partizan and Maccabi, several other teams were in the race for the guard, but Maccabi came out on top and secured the prize.
Dautin Jr is expected to be the team’s primary point guard option, and Maccabi is now expected to continue working on building an even more competitive roster for major challenges in the elite competition.
