France Finalizes Roster for EuroBasket 2025

France has announced its final 12-man roster for EuroBasket 2025. Head coach Frederic Fauthoux confirmed the squad after cutting two names from the wider list: guard Nadir Hifi and injured center Vincent Poirier.

The French team will also be without several major frontcourt players such as Victor Wembanyama, Rudy Gobert, Matthias Lessort, and Mustafa Fal, leaving their inside game notably weakened.

Notable Omissions: Hifi and Diabate

The biggest surprise was the exclusion of Nadir Hifi, who had an excellent season in the EuroLeague. Shortly after being left out, Hifi expressed his disappointment but wished his teammates success at the tournament.

In addition, Moussa Diabate of the Charlotte Hornets declined a late invitation from the federation, leaving France without additional depth in the paint.
