Jarrad Branthwaite
Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite has signed a new five-year deal, which will keep him at the club until 2032.
The 23-year-old joined Everton in January 2020, and his current deal with the Toffees was due to end in the summer of 2027.
Branthwaite’s extension quells any reports of an impending move away from the Merseyside club, who reportedly rejected two strong bids from Manchester United last season.
"I'm over the moon," he said. "It's been something we've been talking about since the end of the season and to get it signed now is something I'm really excited about.”
Branthwaite has made 86 appearances in all competitions for Everton, including playing 30 times on their way to a 13th place finish in the Premier League last season.
The England international is seen as a key component in the club’s plan going forward as they look to turn things around under new ownership and begin life in their newly constructed Hill Dickinson Stadium.
